Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ambuj Nath

High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi

Born in a family of lawyers, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ambuj Nath did his B.Sc. Hons in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi and obtained law degree from Campus Law Centre Delhi in the year 1988.

Started practicing at Ranchi Bench of Patna High Court and later at High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi and Civil Court Ranchi, both on Criminal and Civil side. Joined Jharkhand Superior Judicial Service as Additional Sessions Judge on 24.12.2001. He performed duty as Principal District Judge in Dhanbad for two terms and Deoghar. He also performed duty as Joint Registrar (List & Computer) Cum- Central Project Coordinator, Registrar Administration and Registrar General at High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi

Elevated as Permanent Judge of High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi on 08.10.2021.
Superannuated on 23rd of DECEMBER 2025.
